Job Description
Adelphi is seeking a Licensed Dentist who is responsible for providing dental services for individuals living at a Supported Living Center and certain identified individuals living in community-based settings, including advanced dental care and treatment to elevate the oral hygiene of all individuals.

REQUIREMENTS:
•Must be licensed as a dentist by the State of Texas with no restrictions
•Must have current unrestricted registration certificate from the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA)
•Must possess a National Provider Identifier (NPI#)
•Must be certified by the American Heart Association - BLS in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and maintain that certification while providing services. Copies of CPR certifications must be kept on file.
•Must submit to HHSC required drug test
•Must submit to HHSC required fingerprinting
•Must complete facility and HHSC required training
•Must comply with HHSC immunization requirements
•Must abide by staffing agency and MSSLC's attendance and leave policy
•Must abide by the rules, regulations, and policies of HHSC and SGSSLC.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Provide dental services for patients both routine and non-routine
•Perform documentation of all services provided
•Perform various patient care duties, under the supervision of the Medical Director
•Follow facility Standard Operating Procedures to meet Joint Commission, CMS, BSH, and facility accreditation standards and directives
•Implement best and safe practices in treatment, dental services to include: comprehensive exams, limited exams, emergency exams, restorative procedures, simple extractions, crown preservation, denture cases, and work alongside and Anesthesia provider for complete oral rehabilitation.
