CNC Lathe Machine OperatorLocation: Batavia, IL Shift: 2:30 PM 11PM Pay: $24.00 per hourJob Overview: Operate CNC Lathe machines and a computer console to complete assigned work. Complex machine setups are handled by others. You will check parts using measurement tools and make simple machine adjustments as needed.Responsibilities:Operate CNC machines including mills and lathesRead and follow blueprints and drawingsSet feeds and speeds and follow setup instructionsPerform basic machine adjustmentsInspect parts during production to ensure qualityComplete required paperwork and maintain accurate recordsWork with different departments to complete jobsFollow all safety guidelinesAssist in other areas as neededRequirements:High school diploma or equivalent preferredAbility to read measurements and use tools such as calipers and micrometersBasic math and reading skillsAbility to read prints and work instructionsMechanical aptitude and problem solving skillsGood communication and teamwork skillsAble to lift up to 50 poundsBasic computer skills
