Licensed Practical Nurse LPN – Detox & Residential Care Job Title : Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Detox & Residential Care Location : Nashville TN - Detox Center Schedule : Full Time /AllShifts available include 7a-7p / 7p-7a with rotating weekend shift coverage Salary : $28.00/hour plus Overtime and Shift Differential We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide nursing care in a residential detox setting serving adults with co-occurring substance use and mental health conditions. This role supports client health and safety by delivering care in accordance with applicable nursing standards and organizational policies. Duties and Responsibilities Takes client's vital signs, treats wounds, and evaluates physical condition of clients as needed in emergency situations Maintains record of persons treated, and prepares incident reports Completes client medical history to be added to the clinical record Performs tuberculosis testing on all clients at time of admission and employees and makes appropriate referrals for individual's exhibiting S/S of TB or presenting with positive TB test Is responsible for the follow-up and documentation of medical information into the client's clinical record Completes the medical admission process and assists the medical records department, as needed Is available to answer medical questions after hours as needed by on-call staff Performs other duties as required or needed Qualifications An Active Unencumbered Nursing License in the State of Tennessee, required Must have strong computer skills with ability to type 30 wpm Must demonstrate effective interpersonal communication skills and strong organizational skills with paperwork Maintain current CPR and First Aid certifications (required) Must pass background check and drug screening (required) Valid TN D.L. with 'F' endorsement required; 'F' endorsement can be obtained once hired Education and/or Experience Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program High School Diploma or GED Benefits Available Health Vision Paid Vacation and Sick time 401K Life Insurance (Company Paid) Life Insurance (Voluntary purchase) Optional: AFLAC policies available through payroll deduction Buffalo Valley is a Drug-Free Workplace and Equal Opportunity Employer.
