The firm supports clients with U.S.-Europe cross-border advisory matters, U.S. international tax and reporting considerations, finance oversight, internal controls, governance, fractional CFO support, and coordination with professional advisors. Drapalski Consulting operates as a boutique advisory firm focused on clarity, structure, control, and disciplined professional judgment. Role Overview Drapalski Consulting LLC is seeking an Outsourced Independent Business Development Partner to help develop referral relationships with professional service firms in and around Asheville, North Carolina and Spartanburg, South Carolina . This is a commission-only independent contractor role focused on identifying, contacting, and arranging introductory meetings with firms that may have clients needing U.S.-Europe cross-border advisory support. Target referral partners may include: CPA firms Tax practices Audit firms Law firms Boutique advisory firms Financial advisory firms Firms serving international, expatriate, or cross-border clients This is not a high-pressure sales role. It is a professional relationship-development role requiring credibility, organization, and sound judgment. What You Will Do The Business Development Partner will be responsible for: Building a targeted lead list of CPA, tax, audit, legal, and advisory firms in Asheville, Spartanburg, Greenville, Charlotte, and surrounding markets Identifying firms likely to encounter U.S.-Europe or international client matters Conducting professional outreach by email, phone, LinkedIn, and local networking channels Arranging qualified introductory meetings between Drapalski Consulting LLC and potential referral partners Tracking leads, outreach activity, follow-ups, and referral status in Attio CRM Maintaining a clear and professional record of all outreach activity Representing Drapalski Consulting LLC in a professional, accurate, and disciplined manner What Drapalski Consulting Provides Drapalski Consulting LLC will provide: A firm-managed Microsoft account for approved business communication Access to Attio CRM for lead tracking and referral documentation Drapalski Consulting business cards for local professional networking Approved outreach messaging and talking points Service positioning guidance Target market guidance Direct participation in qualified introductory meetings Target Referral Opportunities The ideal referral partner may have clients who need support with: U.S. citizens living in Europe European individuals investing in or moving to the United States U.S. businesses expanding into Europe European businesses entering the U.S. market Cross-border tax coordination FBAR and FATCA-related advisory considerations Foreign financial account and asset reporting reviews Finance oversight for international businesses Internal controls and audit readiness Fractional CFO or senior finance advisory support Coordination between U.S. and European tax, legal, financial, and advisory professionals Compensation This is a commission-only independent contractor opportunity . The compensation structure is: 25% commission on qualified client revenues generated through accepted referrals Commission is calculated only on revenue actually collected by Drapalski Consulting LLC Commission is paid after Drapalski Consulting LLC receives payment from the referred client Referral opportunities must be documented in Attio and accepted by Drapalski Consulting LLC Final commission terms, eligibility, exclusions, timing, and referral attribution will be governed by a written independent contractor / referral partner agreement There is no base salary, hourly compensation, draw, or guaranteed minimum payment. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is preferably located in or near: Asheville, NC Spartanburg, SC Greenville, SC Charlotte, NC Western North Carolina Upstate South Carolina Strong candidates may have experience in: Business development Professional services sales Local relationship-building CPA firm, tax firm, or law firm networking Financial services referral development Chamber of commerce or business association networking Consulting, tax, legal, accounting, or advisory services environments The right person will be credible, organized, commercially disciplined, and comfortable approaching professional service firms in a measured and professional way. Important Role Boundaries This role does not include providing: Tax advice Legal advice Accounting opinions Technical advisory conclusions Fee quotes unless approved by Drapalski Consulting LLC Engagement commitments on behalf of Drapalski Consulting LLC Client acceptance decisions All technical, pricing, engagement, and client acceptance decisions remain with Drapalski Consulting LLC. Why This Role Exists Many CPA firms, tax practices, audit firms, law firms, and boutique advisory firms encounter cross-border client issues but may not have dedicated U.S.-Europe advisory capacity internally. Drapalski Consulting LLC can serve as a specialized referral and outsourcing partner for those firms, helping them support clients without overextending their internal teams.
