BBSI has partnered with a well-established and respected construction building materials distributor with three successful locations and a reputation for exceptional customer service. As our company continues to grow, we are looking for an energetic, customer-focused Inside Sales Representative who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building lasting relationships with contractors, builders, landscapers, and homeowners.

What You'll Do

As the face of our sales counter, you'll play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service while helping customers select the right masonry, landscape, and plaster products for their projects. Your ability to build relationships, provide product knowledge, and ensure accurate order processing will directly contribute to the success of both our customers and our business.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service to walk-in, phone, and email customers.
• Assist customers in selecting products that best fit their project needs.
• Prepare quotations, enter sales orders, and process invoices accurately.
• Provide product knowledge, pricing, availability, and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate deliveries and customer pickups with warehouse and yard personnel.
• Develop strong relationships with contractors, builders, landscapers, and homeowners to encourage repeat business.
• Support the outside sales team with quotes, order follow-up, and customer communication.
• Resolve customer concerns professionally while maintaining a solution-oriented approach.
• Maintain an organized, professional showroom and sales counter.
• Stay informed on new products, promotions, and industry trends.
• Assist with inventory checks and communicate stock replenishment needs.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in inside sales, counter sales, or customer service.
• Experience within building materials, construction supply, masonry, landscape, or plaster products is highly preferred.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Comfortable using computers, POS systems, and order entry software.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and eager to learn.
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Bilingual Spanish
