Qualifications and Experience:

• Certification in Special Education required, with appropriate credentials for teaching in elementary settings
• Demonstrated experience or knowledge in resource models and working with 4th & 5th grade students
• Strong understanding of IEP development, progress monitoring, and compliance processes
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and create an inclusive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted, small group and one-on-one support tailored to students’ learning plans
• Develop lesson materials and modify curriculum to meet a spectrum of learning needs
• Collaborate with general education staff and related service professionals to maximize student success
• Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in parent conferences and team meetings
