Oven Kitchen Operator

Job Type: Full-time

Shift: 2nd Shift (2:30PM – 12AM)

Pay Rate: $20.00

Job Summary: 

The Oven/Kitchen Operator is responsible for preparing gravies and food products according to company

recipes, quality standards, and food safety requirements. This position operates kitchen and oven equipment, gathers

raw materials, monitor cooking processes, and ensures production schedules are completed safely and efficiently.

Essential Duties Responsibilities:

• Review the production schedule and prepare for the next day's production.

• Communicate with production lines regarding gravy and product requirements.

• Gather, verify, and stage raw materials before production begins.

• Prepare gravies and food products according to approved recipes and specifications.

• Operate ovens, kettles, mixers, scanners, and other kitchen equipment safely.

• Monitor cook times, temperatures, and product quality throughout production.

• Follow all GMPs, HACCP, allergen controls, PPE requirements, and food safety procedures.

• Maintain accurate production and batch records.

• Keep the kitchen and work area clean and sanitary throughout the shift.

• Report equipment issues, quality concerns, or safety hazards immediately.

• Support other production areas as needed and perform additional duties assigned by management.

Experience and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Previous food manufacturing, kitchen, or production experience preferred.

• Knowledge of PPE, GMPs, food safety, and allergen control preferred.

• Must be able to work overtime and Saturdays when required.
