We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Punch Press Operator to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent role where you will be responsible for operating and maintaining punch press machines to meet our high standards of quality and efficiency. You will be working with state-of-the-art equipment in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment. This job role requires a keen eye for detail, precision, and a strong understanding of engineering blueprints and designs.


Responsibilities:

• Operate punch press machines and other machinery used in the production process, ensuring tasks are completed with accuracy and efficiency.
• Interpret engineering drawings, G-Code, and work orders to perform required operations.
• Set up tooling, load programs and set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance of the equipment.
• Monitor machines during the production process to ensure optimum running.
• Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and perform adjustments as needed.
• Inspect completed workpieces for defects and ensure conformance with specifications, using instruments such as gauges and micrometers.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and standards.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth operations and high-quality output.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating and maintaining punch press machines, specifically AMADA turret punch.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints and G-Code.
• Extensive knowledge of tool and die.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items.
• Commitment to adhere to all health and safety regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with quality control analysis and reporting.
• Availability to work overtime and weekends if necessary.
