Ops Shift Supervisor

What You Can Expect

As our Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for directing and supervising the Operations Department and other plant personnel to ensure the facility is operated and maintained in a clean, safe, and efficient manner in accordance with all company policies and environmental standards. The Shift Supervisor reports to the Operations Manager.

You will:
  • Direct shift activities under the direction of the Operation Manager.
  • Ma shift duty assignments including performing administrative tasks.
  • Manage Emergency Actions necessary to prevent harm to personnel and damage to plant equipment. Work with the Operations Manager to oversee all actions taken and communicate with the client
  • Perform duties as a Working Supervisor under the direction of the Operations Manager
  • Work with the Operations Manager to develop working relationships with Operations Crews
  • Maintain good working order of plant equipment by developing necessary Preventive Maintenance Schedules for plant equipment
  • Assist crew members in setting meaningful annual performance and development goals, provide ongoing coaching, and monitor progress to ensure alignment with operational needs and individual growth plans
  • Conduct regular checks with employees to review progress toward goals and provide constructive feedback
  • Ensure all crew members complete required regulatory, safety, and operational training by tracking deadlines and providing guidance to maintain full compliance with company and industry standards

What You'll Bring
  • A minimum High school education or equivalent
  • A minimum 10 years' experience in electrical/electronic and pneumatic instrumentation, mechanical systems, boilers, turbines and gas turbines

Additional Details
  • This role requires attendance at a worksite on a rotation basis
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license/clean driving record; you will drive a company vehicle
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
  • This position consists of 5% of outdoor work, while performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions

Compensation

Range: $88,800 to $136,045 USD

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
