Travel Physical Therapist Opportunity
Seeking an experienced travel Physical Therapist to provide skilled therapy services in a busy rehab unit. The therapist will deliver evaluations, treatment plans, and functional training to facilitate patient recovery and independence.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs through comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic interventions such as gait training, therapeutic exercises, and functional training.
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately using Meditech and Expanse systems.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate care and optimize patient recovery.
- Educate patients and families on therapy goals, safety, and post-discharge care.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain compliance with all applicable certifications and standards.
Qualifications
- Valid state license as a Physical Therapist.
- BLS certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in SNF or rehab settings.
- Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Meditech or Expanse documentation systems preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability to new hospital setups.
