School Psychologist - Elementary School Setting

Location: Burbank, Illinois

Schedule: 35 Hours Per Week

Contract Length: 36 Weeks

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to support elementary students in a school-based setting. The School Psychologist will provide psychological services, conduct evaluations, support eligibility determinations, and collaborate with educators and families to ensure students receive the support needed to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

This is a full-time, in-person opportunity; however, the district is also open to part-time candidates who can assist with a portion of the caseload.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments.

• Participate in eligibility determinations and special education processes.

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

• Develop recommendations and interventions to support student success.

• Attend IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings.

• Provide consultation regarding academic, social-emotional, and behavioral concerns.

• Maintain accurate documentation and evaluation reports.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Current State School Psychologist licensure and/or certification as required by the state of assignment.

• Master's Degree in Psychology preferred.

• Experience working with pediatric and adolescent populations preferred.

• Current CPR certification, if applicable.

• Current health certificate, if required.

• TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray if applicable.

• Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice.

• Caseload: Approximately 30-40 Students

• Supporting Two School Sites

• 35 Hours Per Week

• 36-Week Contract

• Start Date: September 21, 2026

• Full-Time In-Person Position
