We are seeking an experienced Shipping Supervisor to oversee daily outbound shipping operations in a fast-paced industrial warehouse environment. This position is responsible for leading shipping personnel, coordinating outgoing shipments, ensuring order accuracy, maintaining proper material handling procedures, and supporting safe and efficient warehouse operations. Experience working with Pipe, Valves & Fittings (PVF), steel, metal products, tubing, or other industrial materials is a plus but not required.

Spanish/English bilingual candidates are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead daily shipping operations and warehouse shipping personnel
• Assign workloads and prioritize daily shipping activities to meet customer deadlines
• Coordinate outbound shipments with carriers, freight companies, and internal teams
• Oversee picking, staging, loading, and securing materials for shipment
• Verify customer orders, shipping paperwork, packing lists, and bills of lading for accuracy
• Ensure shipments are prepared correctly and delivered on schedule
• Coordinate flatbed, LTL, and common carrier shipments
• Ensure proper handling, packaging, labeling, and protection of industrial materials
• Manage shipping documentation and maintain accurate shipment records
• Work closely with inventory, receiving, production, and customer service teams
• Monitor inventory accuracy related to outbound shipments
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory reconciliation as needed
• Train and coach shipping employees on procedures, safety, and productivity expectations
• Ensure safe operation of forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment
• Maintain an organized shipping area, loading dock, and staging areas
• Identify opportunities to improve shipping efficiency and reduce errors
• Enforce company safety policies and OSHA guidelines
