Long Term Care (LTC) Nurse

Job Overview

Seeking dedicated Long Term Care Nurses to provide high-quality care in a supportive environment. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of residents, ensuring their health and well-being in various settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to residents in accordance with established guidelines and regulations.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Point Click Care (PCC) charting system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal resident outcomes.
• Monitor patient condition and report any changes to medical staff promptly.
• Assist with daily living activities to ensure residents' comfort and dignity.
• Participate in care planning and evaluate care effectiveness regularly.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of verifiable travel experience in nursing.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Long Term Care.
• Experience with Point Click Care (PCC) is required; candidates should be prepared to discuss this during the interview process.
• Current nursing license in the state of practice.
• Possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Contract Details

• Contract length of 16-18 weeks.
• Shifts: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM, with potential for other shifts as needed.
• Travelers will be expected to work 2 out of 3 major holidays with one holiday off to be determined at orientation.
• Remote Time Off (RTO) requests will only be considered after completion of facility-level orientation and cannot be included in initial submission.
• No jackets or hoodies allowed as part of the scrubs policy.

Location

This position is available in various locations, primarily serving cities such as Burlington, VT, and surrounding regions with multiple facilities.

Additional Information

Transportation options include Uber, Taxi, Bus, and Lyft. Numerous attractions are available nearby, including waterfront activities, shopping malls, hiking, and skiing opportunities. Most travelers utilize apartment finders or local hotels for accommodations.
