We are looking for a Buyer to join our fast‑moving, world‑class organization in Camarillo, CA. We design, manufacture, and supply high‑performance servo drives and motor controllers. From complete PWM servo control to custom servo solutions, AMC provides brushed and brushless motor drives all designed using our advancements in digital servo technology and seasoned analog servo expertise. Our products are used in a vast array of industries, ranging from manufacturing to entertainment, robotics, homeland security and defense, medical healthcare, and many more. Required Education Minimum: High school graduate/GED. Preferred: College and/or APICS CPM. Required Qualifications Must have experience purchasing electronic components. And at least one of these two: PCB and/or metal purchasing. Minimum 3‑years electronics purchasing experience within the last 5 years, including electronic components (BGAs, FETs, power devices, transformers, etc), PCBs and metal fabrication. Proven negotiating and supplier management skills. Analytical skills in understanding what to buy, when to buy, and quantity to buy. Previous work experience with consignment programs preferred.Knowledge of MRP software. Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook skills. Work under moderate supervision. Effective written and verbal communication. Physical requirements: Will occasionally/frequently stand, walk, sit, use both hands, and carry/lift/push/pull up to 25 lbs. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following company policies and procedures. Full‑time position located at our Camarillo facility, Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with additional hours as required. We are ITAR registered; hired candidate must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident. Required Job Responsibilities Purchase, expedite, negotiate, and analyze requirements; work with engineering on potential part alternatives; provide open order reports to suppliers; validate supplier open orders to ensure system matches (quantity, due dates, price, etc.); work on MRB to request RMAs from suppliers; subcontract/outsource POs; work with accounting on discrepancies. Work with the Warehouse group to support incoming material verifications, cycle counts, and inventory levels. Perform other assignments as required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
