Mainframe Software Engineer

Location: Boulder, CO 80301 Pay Rate: $52/hr Interview: Virtual, possibly followed by in-person Parking: Free We are looking for a Mainframe Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and support print-related products on the mainframe platform. The role involves coding, testing, debugging, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and enhancing existing print processes. Key Responsibilities: Develop and support mainframe-based print applications. Perform coding, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting. Investigate issues and conduct root cause analysis. Participate in code reviews and technical discussions. Maintain accurate technical and process documentation. Collaborate with technical and cross-functional teams. Required/Preferred Skills: Mainframe development experience. z/OS. Assembler / HLASM. PLX / PL-X preferred. Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills. Software development and system integration experience. Strong documentation and problem-solving skills. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
