Job Title
The duties described are for the full-performance level. At developmental grade levels, assignments will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence and limited complexity.
The duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Plans, researches, coordinates, and conducts complex investigations and other projects involving federal statutes and regulations governing the international and interstate movement.
- Identifies instances when an investigative subpoena is necessary and appropriate.
- Develops a request to justify the issuance of the subpoena, and develops a draft subpoena that describes the evidence IES seeks to compel.
- Efficiently and effectively responds to dramatic changes in scope and complexity of investigative work or projects.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
