Job Title: PLM Lead

Location: Hyrbrid in the Greater Chicago Area

Compensation: $150,000 - $190,000 DOE

*Compensation varies based on skills, experience, and location where candidate lives.

Employment Type: Full-Time Direct Hire

Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, PTO, Holidays, Parental Leave, 401K with 5% match

Travel: 15-20%, primarily during implementation phases

Our client is an advanced nuclear energy company developing next-generation reactor systems designed to deliver clean, reliable power to data centers, industrial operations, remote communities, and critical infrastructure. With multiple reactor programs in active development and a Construction Permit Application already submitted to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, this company is moving fast and building the internal team to match. This is an opportunity to join an engineering-driven organization at a pivotal moment in its growth.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation, optimization, and long-term ownership of Teamcenter PLM across the organization
\n
• Serve as the internal subject matter expert on Teamcenter, including system architecture, integrations, and workflows
\n
• Design and implement scalable processes and workflows to support engineering and product lifecycle management
\n
• Partner with external consultants during implementation phases while building toward full in-house ownership
\n
• Train and support engineering teams on best practices and day-to-day system usage
\n
• Work cross-functionally to integrate Teamcenter with existing tools and systems across a large and complex component library
\n
• Troubleshoot issues, improve system adoption, and drive continuous improvement across the PLM environment
\n

Requirements:

\n
• 3-5+ years of PLM experience with hands-on Teamcenter proficiency
\n
• Strong understanding of PLM systems including configuration, customization, and integrations
\n
• Experience supporting and enabling engineering teams in adopting complex enterprise systems
\n
• Background working alongside third-party implementers or consultants
\n
• Experience scaling an enterprise system from early-stage implementation to a mature, production-ready state is a strong plus
\n
• Industry background open: Aerospace and Defense, Automotive, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Energy
\n
• Personable, proactive, and comfortable working cross-functionally across engineering and operations
\n
