About You This position leads the Distribution and Transportation System and Process Support Team, including the talent development for up to 8 Kimberly-Clark resources. The team focuses on leading projects and related initiatives to improve supply chain systems, processes, and flows to reduce costs. Collaborates with other supply chain teams to develop strategic capabilities and provides operational support to deliver against Distribution and Transportation objectives. This role is responsible for driving conformance to standard processes and improved productivity in high-volume CPG distribution centers in North America of both plant-based and regional mixing distribution centers as well as within Corporate Transportation. Key Customers include: Kimberly-Clark Business Units, IT and strategic software vendors, Order Management, Distribution, Third-Party Logistics Providers, Planning, Mill/Plant Personnel, Procurement, External Customers, Transportation Operations (Domestic and International), and Carriers. Responsibilities In one of our Supply Chain roles, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center. Job responsibilities include: Provide leadership to the technical/system operations and processes for Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Yard Management, eComm fulfillment, Transportation Management System (TMS), Shipment Track and Trace, Carrier Portal, and Robotic Process Automation Solutions (RPA). Ensure system and process health and stability; Systems include but not limited to Blue Yonder TMS for transportation, Blue Yonder WMS for finished goods, SAP EWM for raw materials, FourKites Dynamic Yard and Transportation, Carrier Portal, Tungsten RPA Solutions, and SAP. Provide training/user support/work direction to 3PL WMS super users and the Distribution and Transportation Teams. Plays a key role in leadership/support for problem solving and corrective action; Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop and implement program strategies and project initiatives to drive new capability to deliver against Customer Logistics cost objectives. Prioritize technical projects and system enhancements focusing on business value. Develop a scope and depth of knowledge in safety, quality, and technical expertise to investigate and drive continuous improvement and innovative solutions. Create new tools or perform ad hoc analysis, as needed, to support various customer group needs; Attract, develop, and retain talent and foster engagement and a positive culture. Manage security and business continuity plans for multiple systems and ensure Distribution and Corporate Transportation adheres to internal controls and legal requirements. Support the SG&A budgeting process; Maintain active engagement in the transportation and distribution industry, benchmarking with companies, agencies and consulting services. Participate in industry leading opportunities to ensure K-C implements best practices. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, computer science or related field; 5+ years of relevant experience Broad supply-chain systems and functional knowledge including supply chain, manufacturing operations, distribution operations, transportation, procurement, and customer solutions Working knowledge of SAP, warehouse management, and transportation systems preferred; Knowledge of or willingness to learn analytical tools and ability to analyze complex data to identify root causes or areas of opportunity and make decisions Ability to apply CI/Lean principles towards continuous improvement of a process Travel varies up to 25-30% depending on project assignments Led by Purpose.
