Accounting Manager (Costpoint) Location: Hybrid / On‑site / Remote Industry: Government Contracting Engagement: Contract or Contract‑to‑Hire Pay Rate $60-70/hour Overview We are seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations and manage a small team in a Costpoint‑driven GovCon environment . This individual will play a key role in leading the close, strengthening internal controls, and supporting organizational growth. Key Responsibilities Oversee general ledger, AP, AR, payroll, and project accounting Review and manage month‑end close and financial reporting Supervise and mentor accounting staff Ensure compliance with GAAP and GovCon requirements (FAR, DCAA) Serve as primary contact for audits and external requests Lead process improvements and Costpoint best practices Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 6–10 years of accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities Strong Deltek Costpoint experience required Prior government contracting experience required CPA preferred; strong communication and leadership skills required #J-18808-Ljbffr HRB
