Shipping Specialist

Job Description

About the Role:

We need a detail-oriented Shipping Specialist to manage incoming and outgoing hardware, office assets, and tech equipment. You will make sure employee gear, server components, and inventory arrive safely and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process Shipments: Pack, label, and ship server hardware and accessories to remote and on-site staff using major carriers.
• Manage Inventory: Receive incoming deliveries, inspect parts for damage, and log serial numbers into our internal inventory system.
• Track Deliveries: Monitor shipment statuses and update internal tracking databases or spreadsheets daily.
• Coordinate Logistics: Work with vendors, couriers, and internal teams to resolve delivery delays or shipping errors.
• Maintain Workspace: Keep the work areas clean, organized, and secure.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in a shipping, receiving, or warehouse role (tech hardware environment is a plus).
• Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and experience with inventory software, multi-carrier shipping portals, and spreadsheets.
• Communication: Clear verbal and written skills to coordinate with team members and external vendors.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or move around for long periods
