Job Description:


- Position Type: Day 3x12-Hour Shift (07:00 - 19:30)
- Certification Requirements: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIHSS
- Floating Requirements: May float down and across the organization (5 hospitals) to like units or lower acuity units (excluding the ED) as needed.
- Weekend Commitment: Required to work 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week cycle and at least one holiday, including holiday weekend.

Qualifications:


- Experience: At least 2 years of nursing experience with a focus on charge experience
- Patient Ratios Experience: Minimum of 2 patients per nurse
- Charting System: Must be experienced with EPIC
- Preferred Experience: Community hospital and LTAC

Skills Required:


- Accessing/Managing Ports
- Arterial Line Management
- Assisting with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal
- BiPAP/CPAP Management
- Blood Product Administration
- Care of Ventilated Patients
- Central Line Care/Management
- Chronic/Acute Renal Failure
- Ventilator Management

- Interdisciplinary Support: Available via interpretation services
- Special Procedures: Engaged in comprehensive patient care
- Patient Age Groups: Diverse age demographics

Scheduling & Compliance:


- Scheduling Type: Other
- Max RTO: 7 days; no new requests after submission
- Licensing: Active CA License required at the time of submission
- Submission Requirements: Valid copies of all required certifications with submission
- Reference Required: 1 supervisory level reference
