Exciting Night Shift ICU Nursing Opportunity!

Job Description:


- Required Certifications:
- AHA BLS
- AHA ACLS
- NIHSS


- Work Schedule:
- Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
- 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week cycle
- At least one holiday shift including the holiday weekend


- Required Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of Charge Nurse experience
- Patient Ratios: 2 patients per nurse


- Preferred Experience:
- Community Hospital experience
- Travel Experience (Required)


- Charting System:
- Required: EPIC (6 months of recent work history)


- Essential Skills:
- Accessing/Managing Ports
- Arterial Line Management
- Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal
- BiPAP/CPAP Management
- Blood Product Administration
- Care of Ventilated Patients
- Central Line Care/Management
- Continuous IV Sedation
- Management of Dysrhythmias
- Titrate Cardiac & Vasoactive Drips
- Ventilator Management


- Patient Demographics:
- Adults and Geriatrics
- Daily Census varies across 5 hospitals


- Interdisciplinary Support:
- Physical Therapy
- Respiratory Services
- Pharmacy
- Lift Teams
- Rapid Response Teams


- Compliance Requirements:
- Must be able to float down to Medical/Surgical units as needed
- No Local candidates within a 100-mile radius (except LVNs/MAs)
- 7 days maximum for requested time off (RTO)
- Must include valid copies of all required certifications with submission


- Orientation:
- 36 hours
