Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer preoperative assessments and prepare patients for various surgical procedures.
  
  
• 
  Assist surgeons during surgeries, maintaining sterile technique and ensuring proper equipment handling.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vital signs and anesthesia levels throughout procedures, responding to fluctuations promptly.
  
  
• 
  Document all perioperative nursing activities accurately and comprehensively.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care before, during, and after surgery.
  
  
• 
  Comply with all safety, infection control protocols, and hospital policies.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid RN license with active state certification.
  
  
• 
  Possess a minimum of 2 years recent experience in perioperative or operating room nursing.
  
  
• 
  Be certified in AHA BLS and ACLS.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate expertise in robotics, neuro, ortho, plastics, gynecology, and prostate biopsies.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit strong clinical skills in GYN, plastics, and prostate procedures.
  
  
• 
  Have the ability to work flexible hours, including major and minor holidays.
