Litigation Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks an associate with strong legal writing skills, particularly in pharmaceutical and medical device Daubert/Rule 702 motions practice, to join its Litigation group in Los Angeles, CA. This position is open to candidates in any U.S. office. Duties Communicate effectively with clients. Supervise junior associates. Collaborate with experts in the field. Assist with fact development and depositions. Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda. Contribute to case strategy development. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, preferably at an AmLaw 100 firm. Extensive experience writing briefs, including Rule 702 and Daubert issues. Experience with products liability litigation. Familiarity with the pharmaceutical and medical device industry is a plus. Juris Doctor (JD) from a nationally recognized school. Admitted to practice in the jurisdiction of application. New York bar admission is encouraged. Strong analytical and writing skills. Attention to detail and good business judgment. Excellent organizational and project management skills. Ability to work collaboratively and independently. Demonstrated oral and written communication skills. Research and problem-solving abilities.Conceptual thinking and persuasive communication. Management skills and ability to multi‑task and prioritize.
