Coordinator, Assessment Operations

Compensation Type: Salaried Compensation: $56,700.00 The Coordinator, Assessment Operations supports daily operations ofNew Student Assessment, including providing functional supervision,staff scheduling and training, center readiness, and testingplatform support. This position oversees off-site and virtualassessment services, including K–12 partner support, proctortraining and authorization, compliance, and documentation. TheCoordinator maintains operational data and records and serves asbackup to leadership to support secure, efficient, andstudent-centered assessment services.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Operational Support & Coordination Provides functional oversight of Assessment Servicesencompassing day-to-day schedule of operations for student andstaff employees in the Columbus Campus New Student AssessmentCenter. Handles onboarding and training for the department and othercollege employees, in collaboration with the New Student Assessmentleadership. Supports overall readiness and operation of the Columbus Campusincluding supplies, technology, and equipment. Assists with staffing needs to address center coverage. Creates and monitors required credentials for proctoringstaff. Serves as backup to the designated Institutional Administratorfor testing platforms and the appointment registration system. Supports system administration, including access management,test setup and administration, proctor management, scheduling, andcompliance. Off Site Coordination Provides oversight and support for off-site assessmentservices, including but not limited to partnering with K–12colleagues to facilitate individual and group assessment sessionsat Central Ohio partner schools, including training and ongoingsupport. Oversees testing platform operations for off-site and partnerlocations, including proctor authorization, training, systemaccess, compliance, and support. Facilitates assessment administration at alternate testinglocations. Manages virtual assessment services, including proctortraining, scheduling, and required documentation Data Management & Administrative Tracks, organizes, and maintains operational data to supportAssistant Director in planning, reporting, and continuousimprovement. Implements operational policies that ensure high-qualitysupport for all placement and assessment programs andprojects. Monitors all activities in functional area to ensure compliancewith college, NCTA best practices and CAS Standards for testingcenter operations and/or grant requirements and stipulations. Keeps secure and accurate records. Culture of Respect Fosters and maintains a safe environment of respect andinclusion for faculty, staff, students, and members of thecommunity. Additional Duties & Responsibilities: Manages multiple assignments of varying complexity and meetstight timelines and deadlines with the ability to adapt to changingneeds of the College and business partners. Attends departmental, division, and unit staff meetings on aconsistent basis. Hours may include working outside of a normal workweek scheduleas needed to meet program needs and workload demands.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Bachelor’s degree in related field. Three (3) years of experience in program management, collegetesting, student affairs, or related field with increasingresponsibility in clerical and customer service preferred. *An appropriate combination of education, training, coursework and experience may qualify a candidate.
