Inventory Control Sr. Material Handler

Our client, in the manufacturing and industrial sector, is seeking a Inventory Control Sr. Material Handler to join their team. As a Inventory Control Sr. Material Handler, you will be part of the inventory management department supporting logistics and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, reliability, and strong communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Inventory Control Sr. Material Handler

Location: Baytown, TX

Pay Range: $18

Shift: First Shift (United States of America)

What's the Job?

• Use handheld RF scanners and mobile apps to perform replenishments, stock rotation, cycle counts, order entry, returns, and backorder processing

• Receive and inspect shipments, scan and store items, and maintain accurate inventory records

• Respond to customer inquiries via email and phone, building trust and resolving issues

• Collaborate with team members to improve workflows and safety standards

• Monitor stock levels proactively to prevent operational disruptions

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• 2-3 years of customer-facing, retail stocking, warehouse, or inventory-control experience

• Confident in using RF handheld scanners or mobile scanning apps and basic Microsoft Office tools

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with a friendly, solution-focused approach

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with attention to detail and accountability
