Extensive software development experience in MS C++ is required, and development experience in electric power system simulation software is a plus.Duties and ResponsibilitiesResearch, design, write specifications, and prototype for various power system modeling.Lead and develop in the ETAP software environment.Support ETAP marketing, workshops, and technical support.Lead and supervise engineering service projects.QualificationsA Professional Electrical Engineer license is required.5 to 10 years’ relevant experience.Experience in modeling and analysis of power system studies.Capabilities in researching, designing, and testing of various power system simulation models.Ability to follow various industrial standards and write specifications.Highly motivated, self-managed, details-oriented, and well-organized; good problem-solving and analytical skills.Desirable to have experience in developing simulation software with Microsoft Visual C++.Desirable to have experience in power system software development.EducationMS or PhD in Power System Engineering or Electrical Engineering. An MS degree in Computer Science is a plus.
