Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients' mood disorder symptoms, assessing intensity, frequency, and duration to inform treatment planning.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that are tailored to each client's specific needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to implement effective treatment strategies.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices, empowering them to take control of their mental health.

• Regularly monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary in collaboration with clients to ensure effective ongoing care.

• Engage in multidisciplinary teamwork with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and cohesive client care.

• Stay apprised of developments in mood disorder research and treatment advancements to enhance therapeutic approaches and client outcomes.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring privacy and compliance.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

• Advocate for clients' needs, including addressing mental health stigma and ensuring access to necessary resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role will primarily focus on working with diverse clients who are experiencing various mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Our clients may come from different backgrounds, including homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. As a therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping these individuals navigate their mental health challenges and empower them towards recovery.

Qualifications\n
