Located next door to Old Folsom Prison, California State Prison - Sacramento (SAC) is a licensed health care facility that provides patient services twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Department Website: Job Description And Duties Effective July 1, 2025, in accordance with the applicable Memorandum of Understanding, the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) was implemented in response to the status of the State budget. PLP 2025 requires each full-time employee in Bargaining Unit 20 , and related Excluded, Exempt and Statutory Exempt employees, will have their base salary reduced by 3 percent and will receive 5 PLP 2025 leave credits monthly through June 2027. Salaries do not reflect the recent changes. Under the direction of the Chief Medical Executive and the supervision of the Correction Health Services Administrator I/II, Correctional Facility (CF), the Radiologic Technologist, CF instructs and prepares patients for radiologic examinations and takes x-rays for a variety of body structures. The Radiologic Technologist maintains equipment and quarters and keeps records and files. The Radiologic Technologist, CF may supervise the incarcerated-workers and the conduct of patients in treatment.
