Project Estimator

This position develops, quantifies, costs, and provides a complete capital expenditure (CapEx) model for evaluating projects. Employees in this role provide technical guidance, estimating knowledge, market pricing, and staffing considerations during the estimating process. Key responsibilities Review designs and specifications for cost-effectiveness Suggest alternatives when appropriate Coordinate with other departments to ensure understanding of project objectives and efficient utilization of resources Remain current with technology and industry evolution to anticipate correct market conditions in capital estimates Establish, build, and implement metrics for cost and construction estimate checks Perform other job-related duties as assigned Requirements - education & experience Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Finance, Construction Management, or equivalent experience 6 - 10 years of experience in capital cost estimates and independently supporting cost evaluations, integrating staffing considerations into estimates Nice-to-have / preferred skills Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Finance, or Engineering Six Sigma Certification (Yellow Belt or higher) for process optimization Expertise in CapEx modeling, construction estimate validation, and cost-efficiency metrics Market pricing research capabilities Impellam Group and its brands are equal-opportunity employers committed to diversity and inclusion.
