Project Estimator

Insight Global is looking for a Project Estimator to join a rapidly growing team. This will be a full time role with a major American energy company that generates, transmits, and distributes electricity. It operates as the world’s largest producer of wind and solar energy and functions through two primary businesses: a regulated electric utility company and a competitive clean‑energy wholesale generator across North America. This individual will be responsible for developing and preparing detailed cost estimates for capital construction projects. They will review project designs, layouts, and specifications to evaluate cost effectiveness and recommend value‑engineering alternatives when appropriate. The role requires regular coordination with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment on project objectives, resource utilization, and overall project strategy. Additionally, they will stay informed on evolving industry trends, construction methodologies, and market conditions to ensure accurate and competitive project estimates. Responsibilities also include establishing, tracking, and continuously improving cost and construction estimating metrics to support effective project planning and execution.
