The Club at Harbor Point in Mill Valley is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Front Desk Receptionist for a full-time evening shift. This role is pivotal in creating a welcoming and organized atmosphere for our tennis and swim club members. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates professionalism, and is dedicated to delivering exceptional member service while supporting daily club operations.
Responsibilities
- Greet and check in members and guests promptly and courteously
- Answer phone calls and assist members with inquiries and reservations
- Manage tennis court and swim reservation scheduling efficiently
- Scan member IDs and monitor club access to ensure security
- Enforce club policies and safety procedures with professionalism
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the club environment throughout the shift
- Restock retail and operational supplies as necessary
- Clean fitness equipment and common areas regularly
- Close the club at the end of the day, ensuring security and readiness for the next day
- Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall member experience
- Resolve conflicts and make decisions effectively to maintain a positive environment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in front desk reception or related role
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current CPR and AED certification or willingness to obtain
- Outstanding customer service and phone etiquette skills
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and decision-making abilities
- Effective conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Dependable, punctual, and professional attitude and appearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a club or recreational facility environment
- Familiarity with membership and reservation management systems
- Residence in the Marin County area
