About RAW Nutrition RAW Nutrition is led by serial entrepreneur Dr. Domenic Iacovone, six‑time Mr. Olympia Champion Chris Bumstead, and renowned bodybuilding coach Matt Jansen. RAW Nutrition has been recognized as the #1 fastest‑growing sports nutrition company by Inc. 5000 and recently named Brand of the Year by both GNC and The Vitamin Shoppe. Since its inception in 2019, every RAW Nutrition product has been made with premium, clean ingredients, free from unnecessary fillers and additives, and we proudly carry the Informed‑Sport certification, a mark of excellence that ensures our products are rigorously tested for prohibited substances and meet the highest standards of quality and safety. We’re a team of athletes, creators, and innovators driven by authenticity and the relentless pursuit of better. Whether you’re behind the barbell, behind the camera, or behind the scenes, you’ll be part of a culture that values grit, growth, and excellence in everything we do. Join us—and help build the future of sports nutrition! Role Overview The Procurement Analyst is a commercially grounded, analytically driven role at the core of RAW Nutrition’s cost management and supply operations. This position owns raw ingredient sourcing and contract management, tracks COGS performance against budgeted targets to ensure Contribution Margin 1 (CM1) goals are met, and maintains rigorous visibility into supplier spend relative to contracted thresholds, rebate structures, and pricing commitments. You will work at the intersection of finance, supply chain, and operations — translating ingredient cost data, supplier contracts, and purchase activity into clear insights that protect margin and drive smarter procurement decisions across a complex, high‑velocity SKU catalog. This is not a passive reporting role. We are looking for someone who holds suppliers accountable to contracted terms, challenges cost variances before they erode margin, and continuously improves the procurement processes and financial visibility the business depends on. Key Responsibilities Own the tracking of actual COGS versus budgeted targets at the SKU and category level, maintaining a live view of where margin performance is on track versus at risk. Partner with the finance and operations teams to reconcile ingredient costs against standard costs in the bill of materials, flagging variances that threaten CM1 targets before they flow through to the P&L. Build and maintain cost‑to‑budget dashboards that give leadership clear, SKU‑level visibility into CM1 performance, cost trends, and variance drivers on a rolling basis. Support new product development by modeling expected ingredient costs and validating that formulations hit target CM1 thresholds prior to commercialization. Lead sourcing activities for raw ingredients, packaging components, and co‑manufacturing inputs — evaluating supplier options, negotiating pricing and terms, and ensuring contracts reflect current business needs and volume commitments. Maintain a centralized contract repository with clear visibility into key terms: pricing tiers, volume commitments, contract expiration dates, renewal windows, and performance clauses. Proactively manage contract renewals and renegotiations, benchmarking current supplier pricing against market rates and alternative sources to ensure RAW Nutrition is not overpaying on contracted inputs. Coordinate with the quality and formulation teams to ensure ingredient specifications are accurately reflected in supplier agreements and purchase orders. Track actual purchase volumes by supplier against contracted thresholds and volume commitments, identifying gaps that may trigger pricing tier changes, penalties, or missed rebate qualifications. Build and maintain supplier spend reports that surface concentration risk, off‑contract purchasing, and opportunities to consolidate spend for better pricing leverage. Identify and flag situations where actual spend is diverging from contracted terms — whether underspending on volume commitments or exceeding thresholds that unlock better pricing tiers — and recommend corrective action. Support annual budget planning by providing accurate ingredient cost projections based on contracted rates, anticipated volume, and market price trends. Own the tracking and reconciliation of supplier rebate programs, ensuring all earned rebates are accurately captured, documented, and collected in accordance with contract terms. Maintain a rebate schedule with clear visibility into program structures, qualifying thresholds, accrual timelines, and payment status — proactively flagging programs at risk of missing qualification. Coordinate with the finance team to ensure rebate accruals are correctly reflected in COGS and that recovered amounts are reconciled against budgeted rebate assumptions. Pursue under‑claimed or historically uncollected rebates, working directly with supplier contacts and internal finance to validate entitlements and recover outstanding balances. Build and maintain procurement reporting tools that integrate COGS actuals, contract terms, supplier spend, and rebate status into a single, accessible view for leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders. Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes, contract management workflows, and cost tracking methodologies — identifying automation opportunities and reducing manual lift without sacrificing accuracy. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain finance, or a closely related role within CPG, sports nutrition, or a high‑velocity consumer products environment. Advanced Excel proficiency; proven ability to build and maintain cost tracking workbooks, supplier spend models, and contract management tools from scratch. Demonstrated experience managing supplier contracts, including pricing tiers, volume thresholds, rebate structures, and renewal cycles. Strong financial acumen with the ability to connect procurement decisions to COGS, gross margin, and CM1 outcomes — and communicate that connection clearly to commercial and operational stakeholders. Analytical thinker who can move between granular ingredient‑level cost data and high‑level portfolio margin trends, with the ability to communicate findings clearly to non‑analytical stakeholders. Comfortable operating with incomplete information and adapting quickly when supplier pricing or market conditions shift; this role requires sound judgment and the ability to make defensible sourcing decisions under time pressure. ERP experience preferred, with familiarity in NetSuite, SAP, or similar platforms for purchase order management, inventory valuation, and cost reporting. Required: Experience in sports nutrition, supplements, functional food & beverage, or a comparably high‑SKU, multi‑channel CPG category with ingredient‑level cost complexity. What Success Looks Like COGS are tracked in real time against budget, CM1 variances are identified and explained before they surprise the business, and the root cause of every meaningful cost deviation is understood. All supplier contracts are current, well‑organized, and proactively managed — with no missed renewal windows, no lapsed pricing tiers, and no rebate programs that quietly expire unclaimed. Supplier spend is optimized relative to contracted thresholds: volume commitments are on track, better pricing tiers are being captured where warranted, and rebate recoveries are maximized. Finance, supply chain, and leadership operate from a single, trusted view of ingredient costs, supplier commitments, and procurement performance — with confidence that the numbers are accurate and current. #J-18808-Ljbffr
