Legal Consultant

Payrate: $20.00 - $23.00/hr.


Summary:
This role involves working within the Court Order Compliance group, specifically supporting the Criminal Response Team. The position requires a high level of confidentiality, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a high-volume environment.


Responsibilities:

• Communicate with the law enforcement community regarding life-threatening situations 24x7x365.
• Ensure accurate documentation and management of cases in compliance with laws and company procedures.
• Validate, log, and respond to subpoenas, court orders, and search warrants for customer records.
• Demonstrate sound decision-making and escalate matters to management when necessary.
• Manage workload effectively to complete high-priority tasks within compliance guidelines.
• Enter customer and account data from source documents within time limits.
• Handle high call volumes with strong customer service skills.
• Review data for deficiencies or errors and correct any incompatibilities.

Qualifications:

• Ability to apply for Government Clearance.
• Strong customer service or dispatch experience for handling high call volumes.
• Proficient typing and transcription skills.
• Computer and technical skills.
• Organizational and time management abilities.

Skills:

• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently.
• Understanding of basic legal concepts, terminology, principles, and procedures.
• Legal background, education, or experience is preferred (Paralegal certificate not required).

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $20.00 - $23.00 /hour . Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
