MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Post Partum for a travel nursing assignment in Neptune, New Jersey. Job Details Specialty: Post Partum Discipline: RN Start Date: 08/10/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Requirements Active RN License Degree from accredited nursing program BLS, ACLS & NRP Certification At least 18 months recent experience in an Acute Care Mother/Baby setting Other requirements to be determined by client facility Duties and Responsibilities The Postpartum / Mother-baby nurse (RN) educates and assists new mothers with physical and emotional needs during the postpartum period. They care for the infants and educate mothers about care. Responsible for caring for both moms and their newborns after delivery. Play a crucial role in the hours following delivery, monitoring mothers and helping to ensure proper recovery. Must recognize postpartum depression and teach new moms how to address emotions. Teach new parents how to care, bathe, breastfeed and/or bottle-feed the newborn and monitor their health.
