Employment Type: Full‑time The pay range for this role is $67,013 - $96,797 annually. The amount is based on your experience, skill level, abilities, and education and may vary depending on location and schedule.

SUMMARY OF JOB PURPOSE AND FUNCTION

In partnership with the chief of staff, the Practice Manager manages day‑to‑day operations so the medical team can focus on delivering the highest quality veterinary care. The Practice Manager drives business results, builds a positive client experience, and develops talent.

REQUIRED EDUCATION / LICENSES

Bachelor’s degree in business or a related discipline preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Three years of related experience (health care, veterinary profession, service industry, etc.) and direct supervisory experience, including hiring and associate development.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

The position requires versatility. Duties include interviewing, hiring and developing associates; evaluating processes, progress and productivity; training associates to educate clients on Banfield’s Optimum Wellness Plans®; supporting daily operations; budgeting; allocating resources; scheduling staff; coordinating time off; and managing continuing education needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Educate associates on Banfield guidelines and practices. Budget and plan for the hospital. Support daily operations and staff. Schedule associates, coordinate time off, and manage continuing education needs.
