We’re looking for you to join our team as a Senior Principal Contract Administrator based out of Woodland Hills, California. This is a full-time onsite position that offers the 9/80 schedule. What You’ll Get to Do: The Senior Principal Contract Administrator will support contractual activity within the Navigation, Intelligence and Connectivity (NIC) Division under the Navigation and Cockpit Systems (NACS) Business Unit for the Navigator Operation Unit reporting to the Contracts Manager of the Navigator Operating Unit. The Senior Principal Contracts Administrator will participate in contract proposal preparation, contract negotiations, contract administration, and customer contract activities to manage assigned contracts in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. As primary interface with customer, the Contracts Administrator will ensure that contractual obligations are communicated and understood, ensure fulfillment of contract requirements, manage contract changes, and maintain historical information. Associated roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Reviewing terms and conditions to address provisions and risks of financial terms, acceptance criteria, delivery requirements, warranty, intellectual property, termination provisions, indemnification and all other potential risk areas and recommending risk mitigation strategies. Under general supervision, developing solutions to both routine and complex contractual matters to ensure company compliance with contract requirements on assigned programs. Assisting management in achieving financial goals related to cash management and sales. Act as a primary interface with customer for contractual issues; monitor contract and the associated program to ensure that contractual obligations are communicated and understood. Preparing written communications with internal and external customers for assigned contractual matters Maintaining contract data into Contract Management System Ensuring timely delivery of all contractual deliverables and submission of invoices. Preparation of proprietary information agreements, teaming agreements, export licenses/agreements and various types of memoranda. This role will have significant visibility within high visibility programs, including Division and Sector submittals and reviews and must manage tight deadlines in a complex environment. This individual must have the ability to meet high performance expectations in a very dynamic environment. Excellent communication is a must as the selected candidate will be directly involved in negotiations with the customer as a strategic team member. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience in Government Contracts or a Master's degree with 6 years of experience in Government Contracts Administration/Management Experience with FAR/DFARS and International Non-US Government contracting Experience working with various contract types such as Time & Material, Cost types, Firm Fixed Price, Other Transactions, etc. Experience working with proposal development and negotiations U.S. Citizenship required. The ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret clearance is required. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in U.S. Government Department of Defense contract administration & Non-US Government contracting management Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) / Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR). Primary Level Salary Range: $117,500.00 - $176,300.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
