Role Description The Restaurant Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Gainesville, FL, responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations and ensuring an excellent guest experience. This role includes supervising front-of-house and back-of-house teams, monitoring service quality, and maintaining high standards for food safety, cleanliness, and presentation. The Restaurant Manager will manage staffing levels, support hiring and onboarding, and provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance management. Responsibilities also include managing inventory, monitoring costs, assisting with scheduling, and supporting the implementation of company policies and promotional initiatives. The Restaurant Manager collaborates closely with leadership and team members to uphold Cracker Barrel’s standards of country hospitality and operational excellence. Qualifications Strong customer-focused mindset, with skills in Customer Service and commitment to Customer Satisfaction. Experience in Food & Beverage operations, including familiarity with restaurant standards, food safety practices, and quality control. Effective Communication skills for interacting with guests, team members, and leadership, including clear verbal and written communication. Experience with Hiring, including interviewing, selecting, and onboarding team members in a restaurant or hospitality setting. Previous supervisory or management experience in restaurant, hospitality, or retail environments. Proven ability to lead diverse teams, resolve conflicts, and maintain a positive, inclusive work environment. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. Basic proficiency with point-of-sale systems and comfort with operational reporting or scheduling tools. Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
