Internal Audit Staff Accountant

Century Group is in search of an experienced Internal Audit Staff Accountant to join a team in DTC. Qualified candidates with 1+ years of accounting experience are encouraged to apply. Local candidates only. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $70,000 to $80,000 per year.

Job Description:

• Execute and communicate assigned audit engagements with other Internal Audit members or consultants.
• Participate in SOX testing, execution of the internal audit plan.
• Assign audit engagements that are of moderate complexity.
• Interface with all levels of management and work collaboratively with Accounting, Operations, and the company's external auditors
• Evaluate organization's financial reporting, operational and IT controls.
• Evaluate audit results with Corporate Accounting to resolve any internal deficiencies.

Requirements:

• Bachelors in Accounting.
• 2-5 years of public accounting, financial reporting, or internal audit experience
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel and ERP system skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Able to communicate with professionals at all levels.
• Able to work independently and take initiative.
• Able to adapt to changing priorities.
