Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as a circulating nurse across active operating rooms handling 12–15 cases per day
• Support a variety of surgical specialties including General Surgery, Gynecology, Orthopedics, GI, Cardiology, and Pain procedures
• Collaborate with surgical technologists and the broader OR team to ensure safe, efficient room operations
• Participate in weeknight and weekend call rotations, with a 60-minute response time requirement
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR
• Adhere to all facility policies including drug-free campus requirements and dress code standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois, or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Demonstrated experience in General Surgery within the OR setting
• Demonstrated experience in Orthopedic Surgery within the OR setting
• Ability to participate in weeknight call (Monday–Thursday, 3:15 PM – 6:45 AM) 1–2 days per week
• Ability to participate in weekend call rotation (approximately one weekend per month) and holiday call rotation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with EPIC EMR
• Familiarity with Gynecology, GI, Cardiology, or Pain procedure cases in an OR environment
• Experience working alongside surgical technologists in a collaborative OR team setting
