Media Manager, Oncology

AbbVie seeks a Media Manager for its Oncology division to develop and execute paid media strategies across assigned brands and indications. The role involves collaborating with marketing teams and media agencies to plan media spending, identify target audiences, manage vendor relationships, and track competitive activity in the pharmaceutical landscape.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute media strategies that align with brand business objectives and incorporate innovation and testing components
• Manage media buying process, vendor selection, and implementation of approved media plans with agency partners
• Build and maintain effective relationships with internal marketing teams and media agency of record
• Monitor media budgets, ensure adherence to policies and procedures, and deliver monthly/quarterly reporting
• Track competitive media activity and disseminate competitive analysis to relevant internal teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 5-8 years of paid media agency experience
• Paid media experience in pharmaceutical industry, preferably Hematology Oncology
• Ability to manage multiple projects, vendors, and stakeholders simultaneously
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and media industry software tools
• Strong project management, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations (PHRMA, CFR, Sunshine Act)
• Familiarity with third-party media data sources (M3 MI, MRI, IMS, Kantar, AdScope)
