HR Generalist

Our client is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support HR operations within a fast-paced manufacturing plant and/or distribution center environment of 150+ employees. This individual will serve as a key partner to employees and leadership, helping drive employee engagement, talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, training, and HR program implementation. The ideal candidate is a hands-on HR professional with experience supporting an hourly workforce and the ability to thrive in a dynamic operational setting. Key Responsibilities Human Resources Generalist About the Opportunity Our client is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support HR operations within a fast-paced manufacturing plant and/or distribution center environment of 150+ employees. This individual will serve as a key partner to employees and leadership, helping drive employee engagement, talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, training, and HR program implementation. The ideal candidate is a hands-on HR professional with experience supporting an hourly workforce and the ability to thrive in a dynamic operational setting. Key Responsibilities Serve as a primary HR resource for employees and supervisors on HR policies, procedures, and workplace matters. Support full-cycle recruitment efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and orientation of new employees. Partner with plant or distribution leadership to address employee relations issues and resolve workplace concerns. Administer and support HR programs including performance management, employee engagement, recognition programs, and retention initiatives. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies. Assist with investigations, disciplinary actions, corrective actions, and documentation. Support benefits administration, leave management, and employee inquiries. Coordinate training programs and development initiatives for employees and supervisors. Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data. Generate HR reports and analyze workforce metrics to support decision-making. Participate in workforce planning and staffing strategies to meet operational needs. Foster a positive workplace culture focused on safety, teamwork, and employee development. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 3+ years of progressive Human Resources experience. Experience supporting a manufacturing plant and/or distribution center environment. Strong knowledge of employee relations, recruiting, performance management, and employment law. Experience supporting hourly and salaried employee populations. Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
