Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Join a growing manufacturing team as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk on 1st shift, where you will handle materials, operate stand-up forklifts, and support a busy production environment driven by new product lines and long-term projects.

Responsibilities

• Operate a stand-up forklift safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the facility.
• Pick and stage orders accurately, including both large and small materials, to support production and shipping schedules.
• Move materials between designated areas on the production floor and in the warehouse, following established material handling procedures.
• Use material handling systems and ERP or warehouse management systems to track inventory and material movement, as applicable.
• Assist with inventory-related tasks, such as organizing, counting, and maintaining accurate stock levels.

Essential Skills

• Experience operating a stand-up forklift or sit-down forklift.
• Experience in a material handling role within a manufacturing facility.
• Hands-on experience picking orders and moving large and small materials around a facility.
• Familiarity with material handling systems such as ERP or WMS.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in shipping and receiving roles.

Work Environment

This role is based in a very clean, climate-controlled manufacturing facility with approximately 80 people working on the production floor.

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Delaware, OH.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
