Location: Rochester Hills

General Summary:

• Performs receptionist functions including but not limited to chart prep, patient check-in and insurance verification.
• Receives, screens, routes and responds to incoming telephone calls.
• Takes accurate messages and ensures timely delivery.
• Greets guests and provides appropriate assistance and information.
• Performs additional clerical duties as assigned.

Education/Experience Required:

• High School diploma equivalency required
• Minimum of 1 year of Hospital or Physician Office Experience required
• Flexibility in work schedule and location
• Medical terminology

Preferred Skills:

• Medical background, oncology preferred
• Computer and typing skills
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Friendly; patient centered care
• Ability to work in a team setting.
