Associate Director of Enrollment Services

Summary The Associate Director of Enrollment Services (ADES) collaborates with the Director of Enrollment Services and, where possible, leads and manages the Enrollment Services department at the campus level. The ADES plays a crucial role in hiring, training, and developing enrollment services representatives to ensure that all prospective and enrolled students receive timely, accurate, compliant, and exceptional customer service. Job Details Reporting to the Director of Enrollment Services or Campus President/Director, the ADES is accountable for meeting or exceeding all performance expectations and achieving the team goals of the Enrollment Services Department. Essential Duties And Responsibilities This is an on‑site, student‑facing position. Ensure full compliance with all recruiting activities, adhering to all laws and regulations governing student recruitment activities while upholding Carrington College’s conduct and ethics expectations. Provide leadership, training, development, and performance management for all enrollment services team members. Train new Enrollment Services Associates to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge. Assign individual performance goals to each member of the Enrollment Services team and review progress toward these goals on a daily and weekly basis. Manage all recruitment activities for maximum efficiency to meet or exceed team goals. Conduct required daily meetings with each enrollment services employee. Perform all required observations with each enrollment services associate (ESA), with additional observations as needed based on quality, compliance, and overall performance. Document and review all observations with the ESA in a timely and thorough manner. Provide one‑on‑one and team training to enhance skills and performance. Collaborate with Student Finance and Academic Affairs for cross‑departmental meetings and training sessions. Prepare and conduct performance evaluations for enrollment services employees. Conduct New Student Reviews (NSR) and ensure that enrollment services employees follow up with both enrolled and interviewed students. Assist the campus in networking and developing professional relationships to generate inquiries at the campus level. Provide accurate and timely enrollment forecasts. Maintain appropriate staffing levels. Establish and maintain an effective system of communication with all departments. Engage in campus community events and activities. Complete other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities This position has direct supervisory responsibilities. The supervisor carries out duties in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws, including interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems. Views training and development as an investment in employees and uses mentoring, cross‑functional assignments, job rotation or other on‑the‑job learning opportunities to enhance the depth and breadth of skills and experience; encourages self‑development opportunities. Qualifications Associate Degree required from an Accredited College or University; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum of 3 years of enrollment services/admissions experience. Prior supervisory experience is a plus. Demonstrated successful multi‑tasking and time‑management skills in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Physical Requirements The employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Frequently required to walk and occasionally required to stand, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to ten pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to twenty‑five pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty pounds. Work Environment The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
