Contracting Project Manager

Trane Technologies is hiring a Controls Project Manager in Columbus, OH. Work arrangement: on-site (5 days). Responsibilities Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and developing internal and external communication plans with stakeholders to communicate project status. Review contract documents to identify risk and develop mitigation plans. Financially manage all aspects of projects including cash flow, monthly forecasted cost and revenue, forecasted cost at completion, monitoring expenses, collections support, and analyzing reporting to identify project deficiencies and provide guidance on corrective action; prepare and facilitate monthly backlog review and reconcile applied cost. Utilize properly qualified subcontractors, oversee subcontractor RFQ process, award subcontracts and manage subcontractor execution. Collaborate with technicians and subcontractors to establish project tasks, schedule requirements, communications for project progress, and review of plans and specifications and control submittals. Manage change orders by recommending solutions, facilitating quotes and closing orders, and coordinating with sales and estimating teams when needed. Lead all aspects of project administration, including risk mitigation of construction contract language, validating project scope, cost, and schedule, managing project compliance, documentation, safety guidelines, and maintenance of project schedules. Execute other duties as assigned. Qualifications Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Project Management degree (or equivalent experience). Minimum three years of experience in HVAC/BAS Controls and Project Management. Experience leading teams composed of diverse technical skill levels. Strong resource and manpower planning skills. Familiarity with third-tier contractor execution and experience working with building owners (a plus). Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major traffic violations. Alignment with company leadership principles. Compensation Annual Base Salary Range: $77,963.33 - $109,340.00.
