We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Executive / Business Development Manager to join a prominent transportation and logistics company in the Midwest US. This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the company's growth by expanding its full truckload (FTL) and 3PL services. You will be instrumental in securing and managing large-scale transportation contracts, leveraging your expertise to drive revenue and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the full truckload (FTL) and 3PL sectors, emphasizing asset-based services.
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers to drive sales growth and enhance market presence.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to develop and deliver tailored logistics solutions that meet client needs.
- Strategically target and pursue high-value accounts to achieve sales objectives and increase profitability.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated success in sales within the transportation and logistics industry, with a strong focus on full truckload (FTL) and 3PL services.
- Proficiency in managing complex sales cycles and negotiating large-scale transportation contracts.
- Deep understanding of asset-based logistics operations and the ability to deliver value through innovative solutions.
- Bonus points for experience in refrigerated (reefer) freight or specialized transportation services.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
