• End Date/Duration: Open-ended, with a credentialing timeframe of approximately 90 days
• Shift: Day shift, 4x8 hours (08:00 - 17:00)
• Hours/Week: 32 hours/week
• Employment Type: Contract/Locums to Perm or Permanent
• License/Certs: Missouri Board Certification in Genetics required; IL license preferred for telehealth
• Experience: 2-5 years minimum in genetics with strong diagnostic skills

Pay & Benefits

• Hourly Rate: $156.00/hour (up to $260/hour based on experience and credentials)

What You ll Do

• Conduct general genetics evaluations, including biochemical and metabolic disorder management
• Provide inpatient consults across pediatric ICU (PICU), NICU, and pediatric wards
• Collaborate closely with a team of genetic counselors, nurses, and specialists
• Manage complex cases involving metabolic, genetic, and rare pediatric conditions
• Support hospital's diagnostic and treatment planning efforts using EPIC EMR system
• Assist in patient and family education about genetic conditions

What You Need
Required:

• Board Certified in Medical Genetics (or eligible)
• State medical license in Missouri (MO) required; Illinois (IL) license preferred for telehealth services
• BLS, BNDD, DEA certifications
• 2-5 years of relevant genetics experience with strong diagnostic skills

Preferred:

• Experience in metabolic or biochemical disorders
• Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
