Quick Facts Location: 3635 Vista Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63110 Start Date: 10/12/2026 End Date: 01/11/2027 Shift: Night shifts (5x8 hours, 19:00–07:00) / Weekend coverage (Friday 7a-7p, Saturday 7a-7p, Sunday 7a-3p, hours may vary) Hours per week: Approximately 24-30 hours (3 shifts/week) Employment Type: Contract / Per Diem Licenses/Certifications: State license, BLS, ACLS (required); NCCAA certification (required) Experience: Minimum 1 year required, 2+ preferred; Level I trauma experience mandatory Pay & Benefits Hourly Rate: $295.00/hr Pay package discussed upon application Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Competitive pay packages, including overtime and holiday pay (1.3x rate) for specified holidays and hours worked beyond 40 per week Medical benefits (W-2), paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Robust referral bonus program Licensure, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable 24/7 dedicated support team throughout your contract What You’ll Do Provide anesthesiology support for adult patients undergoing surgeries in general, orthopedic, neuro, trauma, OB, and cardiac procedures Assist anesthesia providers in a fast-paced hospital environment Practice Medically Directed anesthesia within a Level I trauma setting Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia staff, perioperative teams, and other healthcare professionals Use EPIC electronic medical records for documentation and patient management Ensure safety and patient comfort throughout perioperative care Adhere to hospital protocols and standards of care What You Need Current State license as a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant BLS and ACLS certifications (required) Minimum 1 year of anesthesia experience; 2+ preferred Experience in Level I trauma preferred—mandatory without exceptions Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work night and weekend shifts reliably About the Assignment Join a dedicated anesthesia team supporting adult patients at a prominent hospital in St. Louis, MO.
