Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver individual and group counseling sessions to clients seeking help with alcohol-related challenges via a secure telehealth platform.

• Utilize therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Trauma-Informed Care to create individualized treatment plans.

• Possess an understanding of diverse treatment models, including harm-reduction principles, to cater to clients requesting moderation strategies.

• Maintain an open dialogue with clients regarding community recovery support options, fostering connections with resources like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Smart Recovery.

• Collaborate with our Content Manager to create informative “Expert Insights” or lead support groups, enhancing community learning.
\n
• Participate in monthly peer group discussions to share best practices and build supportive relationships with fellow clinicians.

• Manage your schedule flexibly, with no required minimum hours, while receiving financial compensation for late cancellations or no-shows.

• Receive client referrals through our platform, enhancing your client base without extensive marketing efforts.

• Access Clinical Operations Teams for assistance and support, ensuring high-quality care delivery.

As a counselor at Branches of Growth, you will support a diverse population of individuals seeking assistance with alcohol use concerns. Clients may vary in their readiness for change, from those looking for complete abstinence to those interested in moderation, requiring sensitivity and adaptability in your therapeutic approach.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology, with current licensure as LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC in California.

• Training and/or demonstrated experience in evidence-based treatment modalities, including but not limited to CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing.

• Familiarity with community support frameworks, showcasing the ability to guide clients to valuable recovery options.

• Strong clinical engagement skills, with a demonstrated capacity for empathy and rapport building.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with populations facing substance use disorders and mental health challenges.
